Some of the most famous words in television history are quoted even to the present day. In some cases they are reconstituted into new versions of the classic shows which gives a chance for new generations to appreciate and share the same lessons. In "Lost in Space" lore, the robot works to protect a young boy from the seen and unseen dangers of being...lost in space.  In this post ( source ) the painful lessons being taught through experience are difficult to observe from the outside, and in many cases are the same lessons that so many of us have learned in our own lives.  A comment in the thread below provides shows us the damage that has been caused to the well-being of the culture.  What gets me is that marriage is the MOST significant legal and financial decision a man will ever make in his entire life, yet young men are taught NOTHING about it growing up.
